*Results may vary. Typically at least one syringe of filler is needed to restore lost facial volume for each decade of life. The facial transformation over the age of 40 may require as many as 6-7 syringes of filler.

FAQ's

How soon should I see results from a PRP treatment?

The first results should be visible in 2-6 weeks. Over time, you'll find that the pain lessens with each passing week. Most patients report seeing significant improvement within 6-9 months.

How long do the results from PRP injections last?

After PRP injections, the results may be seen for many years; however, the results may vary depending on the quality of Platelet Rich Plasma and the individual's lifestyle.

Are PRP injections painful?

While the PRP is being reinjected, there may be some mild discomfort. The sensation is typically one of burning or tingling. The sensation lasts only a few minutes after the PRP injection. In order to help alleviate any discomfort, we provide our patients with a topical numbing cream and ice throughout the PRP treatment.

Is there any recovery or downtime or recovery from PRP injections?

There is little to no downtime associated with PRP injections; however, your skin may be red after your treatment. This is normal. Redness usually lasts for one to 24 hours. Some areas may also swell. Healing times will vary depending on the patient.
